our manifesto ↓

We're building what banks forgot.

why we built this ↘

For a decade, traders have trusted strangers with their money.

FTX. Mt. Gox. Celsius. QuadrigaCX. BlockFi. Voyager. Cred. Genesis. The list keeps growing. Every year, billions of dollars in user funds disappear because we built crypto on the same broken model as the banks we said we wanted to replace: give us your money, and trust us not to run with it.

Then they ran with it.

R.I.P FTX $8B+ R.I.P Mt. Gox 850k BTC R.I.P Celsius $4.7B R.I.P Voyager $1.3B ...and many more. a graveyard of broken promises.
what we believe ↘

You shouldn't have to trust strangers to trade.

Trust should be in the code, the math, the proofs — not in a CEO promising to behave. When you trade on Middn, your funds are held by a smart contract you can read, audit, and verify yourself. We literally cannot touch them.

  • i.

    Your keys, your funds

If we don't hold them, we can't lose them, freeze them, or steal them.

  • ii.

    Your data, your business

Privacy is a default, not a premium feature you have to pay extra for.

  • iii.

    Your trades, your choice

No order routing, no spread mark-ups, no hidden counterparties.

  • iv.

    Math over trust

Code that anyone can read beats promises only insiders can verify.

the choice ↘

The old way. The Middn way.

Crypto was supposed to be different. Instead, we copied the worst parts of the financial system and added more leverage. Middn is what we should have built the first time.

the old way
  • Funds held by an exchange
  • Your data sold to advertisers
  • KYC docs in a leaky database
  • "Trust us" governance
  • Frozen withdrawals during crises
  • One bankruptcy = your loss
middn ✓
  • Funds in a smart contract
  • Data stays on your device
  • ZK proofs, not raw documents
  • Audited, immutable code
  • No withdrawals to freeze
  • Math doesn't go bankrupt
our promise ↘

What we stand against.

We don't build Middn to be a "better exchange." We build it to make the whole category obsolete. Centralized custody, blind trust, opaque order books, walled-garden compliance — none of that has a place in a system designed for peer-to-peer trades.

The era of centralized exchanges is ending. Middn gives users control back — not because it's a feature, but because that's how trading was supposed to work all along.
